Brilliant political analysis in my opinion. And the next 22 months will see how this plays out, But I suspect, long game, Roy Moore attaining a victory next week Will give the Democrats a better chance of controlling Congress after 2018.
 
What a contrast... Rump promoting Roy Moore’s election while the Democrats push out Franken... love it!

It's nothing like the Salem witch trials.

Most of these cases reach a critical mass; Americans can judge for themselves if they think the accusers are lying, or the alleged perp is. I think there are some - like Cosby - that everyone agrees on.

At a certain point, a lot of people have to be lying for 1 person to be telling the truth.

Sure it is, mass hysteria, and people are judged guilty and punished almost solely because of accusations by many people.

How is that different? To claim the Salem witch trials were one person making an accusation is just pure non sense. Stop before you further embarrass yourself.
