It’s occurring and I suspect we will see the evidence of it when Roy Moore barely wins in one of the most solidly Republican states.

of course as we all know democrats aren't really losing anything. the michicgan dem can just appoint another liberal. I read an article I think in the NYtimes or some other major publication just a week ago by a liberal woman that franken should stay because policy is too important. Some people get it.

None of what the Trump koolaid group is arguing on this thread matters.
Moore winning is going to give Democrats a very strong issue to campaign on in '18; the fact that many Dems are publicly asking Franken to step down draws a stark & identifiable contrast with Republicans on this issue.
Republicans know this; they are trading that for a single seat now. But again - none of it matters. This will be a problem for the GOP in '18, regardless of any spin.
