Billy Graham dead.

I said Google it,there is a whole list,I'm not your fucking Mommy

As I just stated, I did it said he didn't say it. I don't care one way or the other just trying to understand if it is factual. And no you aren't my mother because she knows how to back up what she claims with evidence

Good point. I wonder why some of the self-proclaimed Xtians here think that because you're atheist you somehow are angry at or hate god and/or his/her/its followers? It's more an absence of concern/thought/regard/consciousness regarding some sort of high being. Most atheists just go about their days like everyone else. They may, for instance, have a moment of gratitude about something, they don't attribute it to some outside force or entity. For believers, that's hard to grok but there it is.

I have no anger . I feel sorry for people who waste so much time and effort dealing with a belief their parents shoved down their throats when they were kids. Few were equipped to fight it off when they were young. Same kind of people who voted for Trump. Now they defend him like a religion. No thinking involved. Their religion can do no wrong and Trump can do no wrong. In both cases that requires blindness .

You think there aren't religious democrats? Not real familiar with people who vote like you huh? Hatred blinds you

Sure there are. Just like there are black Christians and female/minority Republicans.

Some things just can't be explained intelligently.

"All homosexuals should be castrated"
Rev.Billy Graham

Actually, God had something a bit more drastic in mind............
Romans 1:26-27
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Billy Graham once said that "rapists should be castrated".

Black folks shouldn't be Christian? Why is that?

I never said they shouldn't be but why would anyone worship a god who not only blessed your enslavement but gave instructions on how to keep you enslaved and how to punish you etc.

As Chris Rock said, black Christians have real short memories.

That would be a good question to ask a practicing Jewish person. As for ppl of color, some of the most devout Christians I know are black. With only one exception, they vote for (D) candidates.

Nope. You got it wrong. God basically gave instructions to Christians who were either slave (not necessarily black folks either), free, or even masters on how to be Christians in whatever status defined them.

No anger here either. I don't feel sorry for the religious though. Many find great comfort in their faith, and many use it to be a better person. Anything self-imposed that helps make ppl easier to get along with, I'm in favor of. That being said, atheists are no more unethical or amoral than Christians.

My only beef with any faith is when its adherents try to impose it on everyone else whether through evangelizing or legislation.

Lots of my brothers and sisters in Christ are people of color. Many vote just like I do...for the person not the party. We have some good democrats in OK. It’s getting harder and harder to elect them though.

To be fair, we are required to evangelize. I agree far too many spend too much time preaching against this (IMO) or that than telling the gospel story.
