That was my mom's attitude as well. Too bad it isn't more universal.

Every group doesn't have the historical influence and power that religion has had.
 
I was raised christian. The mistake they made, was teaching me bible studies and catechism classes. I actually paid attention. What a contradictory mess it is. It was so illogical . I thought , what am I doing here?

The priests were buggering kids and the church was covering it up. It was a great opportunity for the institution to act religious. They should have confessed, and atoned for their sins. They did the money, business thing instead. They lied and covered up. Churches are businesses folks. Graham was worth 25 million. Is that because he was helping the poor, the hurting and the needy, or was he helping himself? Not hard to figure that out.

Run to the nearest church exit and think for yourselves. The church leaders know no more than you do. They just have a scheme to take your money.

So, believing in not just A god, but the CORRECT god is all that's necessary? Wow! That's multiple billions of people that are also losers.

How does one believing in the NOT CORRECT god make them lose?
