I doubt if that will sustain their $5 billion mega factory in Nevada. Electric vehicles have many issues not least what happens in a crash. Lithium burns ferociously when exposed to air.

Amazon was unprofitable for years and years and years and the investors stuck with Bezos. I figure the proof will be to see how long investors can stick with Musk. Tesla's increase in production suggest that he'll have something to sell to his investors.

A lithium fire is like no other, it burns at over 2000C and pouring water on it makes it far worse. What does the potential demise of Tesla have to do with politics? That's a stupid question, but I'm sure you know that already.
