Muellr is obviously a witch hunt. why else go after a stale case on Manafort as that judge ( Ellis) clearly laid out.

Mueller doesn't care if Trump cooperates -this is all about a perjury trap. don't aid him in his witch hunt
 
I would almost guarantee that Rudolph Giuliani will do more to damage Donald Trump's chances...than help.

Giuliani is a disaster waiting to happen...and about the only person stupid enough to hire him as a "defense" lawyer...is Donald Trump.

You can’t ‘know’ anything when someone pleads the 5th—that’s kind of the point lol.

Since you brought up sleaze, perjury traps are kind of sleazy. If Mueller wants to be un-sleazy, he should just admit he doesn’t have anything to hang Trump with instead of trying to trap him with word games.

If Trump pleads the 5th to avoid an obvious and sleazy perjury trap—that’s called being smart.

GayRod claimed that pleading the 5th automatically means one is guilty of a crime and merely hiding it. I just asked him if that applied to the 9 individuals in the Obama administration. Was the mere fact of them pleading the 5th indicative that they were guilty of a crime as GayRod is asserting here? That is the only question being asked.

I have no illusions that GayRod will answer he will hid behind WHATABOUTISM. And yes, I am committing WHATABOUTISM because I want to expose the hypocrisy of the left. I think I have done so admirably.

Michael Avenatti, Daniels' attorney, said Sunday on ABC's "This Week" that he thinks it's "obvious ... to the American people that this is a cover-up, that they are making it up as they go along. They don't know what to say because they've lost track of the truth."

Legal experts have said the revelation that Trump reimbursed Cohen raised new questions, including whether the money represented repayment of an undisclosed loan or could be seen as reimbursement for a campaign expenditure. Either could be legally problematic.

Trump tweeted last week: "Mr. Cohen, an attorney, received a monthly retainer, not from the campaign and having nothing to do with the campaign, from which he entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two parties." He called Daniels' allegations of an affair "false and extortionist."

Neither the payment nor the liability to Cohen was disclosed on the Trump campaign or the president's financial disclosures.

Giuliani maintained Sunday that the payment can't be considered an in-kind campaign contribution because there was another explanation for it.

"This was for another purpose, to protect him, to protect his family," he said. "It may have involved the campaign. Doesn't matter."

He added that the financial arrangement with Cohen wasn't revealed on Trump's 2017 personal financial disclosure because "it isn't a liability, it's an expense." Giuliani also didn't rule out Cohen making similar payments to other women on the president's behalf.

Cohen, who acted as Trump's "fixer," is facing a criminal investigation in New York, and FBI agents raided his home and office several weeks ago seeking records about the Daniels nondisclosure agreement.

The "courts" apparently....after the latest events over the weekend, just like WE THE PEOPLE are wondering....JUST WHAT CRIME WOULD THE PRESIDENT BE TAKING THE 5TH TO AVOID? There has never been a crime mentioned as per any reason that would require the sitting president of the Untied States to sit down with any investigator. Firing Comey was no crime, no obstruction....and as of yet Mueller's fishing expedition hoping to "flip" any stone that would find the president "prosecutable" has failed to produce any fruit, bitter or otherwise, so far.....and that little pesky thing called the RULE OF LAW is being applied to Mueller and team by Federal Judges (such as TS Ellis and the female judge sitting on the Russian Bot case) as the courts now want to look at the evidence of facts that supports a continued investigation...against Manafort.

This is priceless. Mueller wants to continue investigating with Secret Warrants, Secret Permissions, Secret Evidences, with no sunset, and unlimited budgets. etc., This dog and phony show has just about lost its run on Broadway. Ticket sales are getting weaker and weaker. Apparently Mueller did not expect any of the Russian's charged by his investigation concerning the use of Bots....to show up and defend themselves. Wrong....now the Judge refuses to move the hearing to a later date and is demanding that Mueller turn over all Evidences against the individuals charged with interfering in the US Election.

The problem Mueller has with the Federal Judge and the charge against a hand full of Russians using Bots....is the demonstrable fact that the Obama Campaign used the same internet tactics in both his presidential campaigns and the media declared it the best thing since sliced bread, the same for Obamas use of the social networks, now they are crying like spoiled assed babies. Again.....chickens, coming home to roost, Karma, Whatever the hell one wishes to call it is priceless. Now we have the former Sec. of State (Kerry) facing the possibility of being charged with the LOGAN ACT....as the perfect case to make this antiquated law STICK has come into view. Remember? That's the same charge the media used in drum beating made up charges against the Trump Team. Karma is hell.
