Nope. It's the truth. I agree that the position is garbage, and has no place in our society.

Of course, you could dig up the numbers since trump was elected, that shows increases in SNAP, and other social safety nets.

No. This statement...your statement: “Meanwhile, 'Conservatives' promote starving the elderly/children/veterans/homeless.” is a bunch of crap. Plain and simple. Just because conservatives have different ideas about how to better help someone doesn’t mean they “promote starving...” anyone. Just because they might believe that Education is the key (some of us do) doesn’t mean they want a child to starve. Just because some of us believe in the biblical concept of working for a living, thus a homeless person needs a hand up while getting a handout (job training for those able to do it) doesn’t mean they want to see them starve. And even at that, when someone is truly disabled and unable to fend for themselves you will be hard pressed to find a conservative who thinks that person doesn’t deserve the government help they receive. Social security...not meant to be retirement but a supplement to retirement. Most conservatives I know, while they’re concerned about the sustainability of SS and may have different ideas about how to fix it, do not want to do away with it completely. So your statement is hogwash and propaganda. Stances and statements like that are what gave us president Trump.

Nope. Your statement ignores the fact that most SNAP recipients are working poor. It ignores that college degrees to little to aid in gainful employment in this market.

Perhaps you conflate a conservative citizen, with a Conservative politician? It matters little 'what you believe'. It matters what policies are being rammed through by your party.

If you all thought "education is the key" then you wouldn't accept Devos placed in her position. Period.
