Two police unions in Florida are taking a stand against the Miami Dolphins over national anthem protests.

NFL players continued to protest during "The Star-Spangled Banner" on Thursday night as the league began the first full week of its 2018 preseason.

Two Dolphins players decided to kneel before their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite the controversy surrounding the action.

Broward County PBA Vice President Rod Skirvin told the Miami Herald that the action was a "slap in the face."

Tell us oh wise one just what these protests have accomplished? If costing the NFL and advertisers money is the goal they are doing a bang up job. But that is all.

Since the protests are about police brutality against blacks, it is fitting for cops to want to keep their actions hidden. Make it about something else. Trump is doing it, why not them? Of course, police caused it.

It's funny that no kneeler is protesting domestic abuse, which quite a few of them indulge in. Faux feminista Christiecrite and the conniving coven of crones give them a pass.

Did you know that Christiecrite celebrated the Shitsburgh Kneelers even though they employed Ben Rapelessberger and Michael Vick?

Called what seems now permanent attention to what they feel is mistreatment of black Americans in American society

It was a simple protest till the Donald employed it as a deflection to rally his base, prior to his first statement, less than four NFL players took a knee during the anthem, it is Trump manufactured controversy

You ask the average Joe Sixpack what they are protesting and maybe 1 in 20 might know the answer. To the majority of people all they see are players showing disrespect for the country.
 
I think each and every American should proudly stand and show proper respect for the flag and America. I am very, very thankful to live in a country not everyone has to. Trump is giving the kneeling movement more publicity than it ever would have had. He loves this, fires up his base.
