It was an extreme example of how if some blacks would like to keep their fists in the air, then some whiteys will be keeping their OK's in the air. So, it's even. I choose to ignore both issues because both are divisive. Each side have elements preferring to segregate themselves with a type of "power" attitude. They're all nuts as far as I'm concerned.
Life is simple and friendly with no power struggles here in my little rural area with a 74% diversity rating. The stats show our little town in the past 6 months had 1 burglary, 1 theft, 2 vandalism, 2 assault. In all of that a total of 4 people were arrested. We've got a bank, post office, gas station, dollar store, auxiliary police station, elementary school, 6 tiny churches, clinic, feed/tractor supply store, alligator meat/air boat/gun shop and dozens of roadside fruit/veggie/boiled peanut stands and Miss D's diner with the best ribs, fried chicken, mac & cheese and greens served anywhere. We get along. Been here almost 12 years and the only political conversations we have with others are regarding who the next mayor should be. Speaking of the mayor. His office is located in a corner of the town library and is on a first name basis with everyone. Lived most of my life in Miami with a few other years in N.O. and N.Y.C. I'll take THIS place anytime.
