The right does not get that with Judge K's confirmation, the party loses 60 seats in the House and possibly an unworkable majority of VP and maybe one senator. It will be interesting to see if Collins switches parties after the election.

I haven’t heard from Murkowski and then there’s Flake. I have never doubted he’ll be confirmed, but it is going to get ugly. Avenatti is in the mix now. He doesn’t mess around. This is bad news for the Republicans either way. 50% polled say Kavanaugh should not be confirmed. 56% polled think his hearing should be delayed.

My sense is he’s one of those entitled prep school boys who never really turned the corner from chaperoned sock hops to relating to women such that they really sexually wanted to be with him, like really, wantonly. And he got off on the power of being able to make those girls feel afraid when he came at them like that, and the lingering intimidation that his status provided. Who knows when it stopped if it did? We're up into college now? Those people, sociopaths like that, should have no power over any human being at all. If he found someone to marry him and give him two daughters, none of my business. It isn’t uncommon at all in this society. We just ain’t gonna face it, not out in the open. It’s like race, we still can’t shake it.
