If FBI comes back with nothing

He's been investigated by the FBI 6 times. Give it up already whiteknight.

Repeating a lie doesn't make the lie true; it just shows how you can't help but act in bad faith.

An FBI background check is not an investigation. It's a background check.

Stop.

She is flat out lying and not just about flying. And, everyone knows it.

She's not the one who gave all sorts of tells yesterday.

Bretty was defensive, erratic, untruthful, unpredictable, dehydrated, belligerent, weepy, and indignant....all traits a drunk or junkie exhibits when going through withdrawal.

Oh, then it would follow that you think every women who comes forth with any kind of sexual accusation has to have definitive evidence before her claim merits any kind of consideration

they need more then an uncorroborated "recalled" memory . The benefit of a doubt goes to the one being accused

Are you saying you weren't buying the altar boy to the Pope narrative Bret was selling?

Alcoholics will lie about their alcoholism because part of why they're alcoholics is the overbearing self-pity they have for being an alcoholic.

I've seen many drunks in my 39 years, and Brett fits the archetype.

Well, not sure how Brett can say with certainty that he didn't do these things in a blackout drunken stupor since he's already admitted to blackout drinking with his buddies.

So it's entirely possible Brett doesn't remember assaulting Ford, because he spends most of his life drunk. Because he's an alcoholic.

He looked like he was going through withdrawals during the questioning. The biggest tell was his dry mouth.

True in the case of an actual criminal case, but to take the claim serious, to hear the women's accusation, circumstantial evidence merits an examination, it just can't be dismissed, especially considering this is a lifetime appointment to the SCOTUS

the problem is there is nothing to"examine" no date/place. Judge denies it, and he was the only other one supposedly there.

All the FBI can do is take testimony, they can't draw conclusions.. All of which the Judiciary Commitee was supposed to do on it's own

Put him under oath.

That is, if he can pry himself away from the bottle long enough...and be sober enough to answer questions...which I doubt.

Since Judge is an alcoholic, and he palled around with Brett for many years, wouldn't that mean Brett could be an alcoholic too?

He looked like an alcoholic who needed a drink yesterday...so unstable. So emotional. The kind of behavior a drunken frat boy would exhibit.

He even says his best friend, Mark Judge, is an alcoholic with addiction issues.

So Brett spends his youth partying and hanging with an alcoholic, and we're not to believe he's also one? Whaaa?

Seriously, I've seen plenty of drunks in my day...Brett looked like he was drunk yesterday. Why should an alcoholic be given a lifetime seat on SCOTUS? How do we know his liver won't explode tomorrow?

he was under oath. the rest is you pulling out what weeks of scurrilous attacks on his character does
and changing it to alcohol rage.
It's called righteous anger. Rare in DC because the are all toads -but you saw it on display

Majority of the what you call players never stated it didn't happen, but rather that they don't recall it happening, and lying under oath knowing the chances of anyone checking your account is pretty remote is a whole lot different than flat out lying to the FBI

What are the *established facts* in the case?

There simply aren’t any. They can’t even nail down where it allegedly happened, for crying out loud. And how do you prove someone is lying in absence of facts?

You can’t. It’s impossible. This is just a continuation of the same charade.
