DNA test said man was 4% BLACK. Now he wants to qualify as a minority business owner

And what might that be?

Sailor, ... please. He is so easily provoked.

I really don't want him trashing this thread with his racist slurs ... and asking everyone to come to his town and fight him.

Fair enough Bigdog.

Thanks, ... because I know you know how to push his buttons. :D

And it's my fault for not banning him from the thread. But I'm hoping he can be civil, at least in my threads.

“I’m a certified black man,” he told The Post. “I’m certified black in all 50 states. But the federal government doesn’t recognize me.”

As long as I keep hearing that I am black "where it counts the most" from the fairer sex, I don't care what the government thinks.

:rofl2: :yay: :rofl2:

Thanks for proving that you are just another prejudiced liberal racist stereotyping people according to skin color.

" ... the results were enough for Taylor to update his birth certificate last November: It now says that he is black, Native American and Caucasian.

Taylor acknowledges that he looks white. But despite being “visually Caucasian,” as he puts it, he considers himself to be multiracial.

“I’m a certified black man,” he told The Post. “I’m certified black in all 50 states. But the federal government doesn’t recognize me.”

After he was rejected from a program for minority business owners that would have given him an advantage when competing for lucrative government contracts, Taylor sued. His case, which raises complicated questions about how race is defined, is pending before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

The legal battle got its start in 2013. With the test results in hand, Taylor applied to get his insurance agency certified as a minority-owned business by Washington state’s Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises. As the Seattle Times first reported, he was initially rejected on the grounds that he wasn’t visibly identifiable as a minority. ... "

Yep, a core group of American white folk have been terrified for decades that "light skinned" or "high yellow" black folk would "pass" for white, infiltrate the higher echelons of business and society, and then ...what? Manipulate the system to "take over" or give "identifiable" Americans of African descent an unfair advantage in all aspects of society?

One thing the story does NOT tell is that all applicants for minority business opportunity programs DO NOT automatically qualify...and not for the nazi-like nonsense this man was rejected for. But hey, all the local yahoos on this board are happy to have another "proof" of their warped mindset, and will just ignore all else for the parroting of their core angst.

If this bothers you, write a letter to the Orange Oaf in the Oval Office. ;)

A decade later, ... and you're still a moron :palm:

Sure, you're very welcome.
I put it there to trigger you, because you were already "pre-triggered" the moment you appeared anyway.
Your very presence BEGS for it.

I am as happy and relieved that DJT whooped Hillary ... as you are ... devastated and depressed.

translation: some bigoted bumpkin from past incursions STILL can't honestly debate an issue, so he just excerpts and then blathers like a junior high school kid with an axe to grind.

Read the article again. Whether this guy is full of it or not, the article (and the lawsuit) points to near psychotic attitudes this country has (and has always had) about racial identification. And like I said, there is no automatic granting of a contract under the program he wants to apply for. Carry on.

That is why this case is problematic for the DNC and the left. Depending on how the final ruling shakes out, it likely undermines either race programs or gender programs oriented toward the 158 or so other genders they have invented. If people cannot choose their race for this purpose, then they naturally cannot choose their gender which then makes the whole trans thing more unsettled.

Hold the phone! Are you saying that the DNC and 'the left' "invented" transgender folk? Seriously?
