Trump has proclaimed he owns the shut-down. He said HE would be happy and proud to shut the government down.

The Republicans have control of the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the White House...

...and yet the abomination is now saying it is the Democrats who are responsible for the shut-down!

BECAUSE they would not help him keep a campaign promise he never should have made.

AND THE PROMISE WAS TO BUILD A WALL THAT MEXICO WOULD PAY FOR!!!!

This is the most unnecessary...most bizarre shut-down of the government in the history of the nation.

The Republican Party members of congress must be cringing in their skins at what is happening...and trying to figure out a way...ANY WAY...to get out from this while still retaining any hope of being a viable political force in this country.

Time for the pricks to go on record with actual votes so the American people know who has their best interests at heart and who just pays lip service.

If it is going to fail in the Senate, Schumer should just let it come up for a vote right? In fact, Schumer can make Trump look really bad if there is a vote and it fails rather than killing it on procedural grounds.
