Average tax refund down 17 percent, IRS reports

That wasn't the promise, and it hasn't happened anyway.
And you still have not provided any evidence that the word “promise” was ever used by anyone in the GOP in relation to cutting taxes(I know it’s hard to find, because I’ve never heard it either)
You all literally said that "wages" would increase $4K-$9K, not after-tax income.

So let me get this straight, you actually thought after the cuts were enacted, your boss was going to call you into the office and tell you that the president said you were getting a $4-9k raise? Please tell me you are not as stupid as AOC when she told us that the 3 billion dollar amazon incentive could be better utilized by the state for free stuff!
So you're trying to shift the goalposts.

Typical.
And you are trying a bunch of semantic bullshit. Typical

No it's not more appropriate, and this has gotten his ass in a sling before because no one, not government or the private sector, uses the calendar year for tax purposes.

Obviously incorrect. We individuals file our taxes based on calendar-year earnings. I would have thought you'd know that. Have you never actually filed a tax return?

This is what you're going with?

"We didn't make bad promises, just bad predictions used to sell this thing"?

No, you are.

You all made bad promises (or "predictions") of your tax cut and used that bad faith to sell it to the Conservative rubes and Trump voters.

Now that none of those bad promises were actually realized, you change the parameters of your own argument.

So since you all made bad predictions and promises of your tax cut, why would anything you say today have merit?

They're doing everything in their power to not admit that their policy is a load of horseshit.

When do you file your tax return? December or April? I could speculate on the reasons why the government works this way, but it’s the damn government, and they are going to do things their way. The disagreement here seems to be over revenue to the government increasing or decreasing. I say it’s increasing(according to GOVERNMENT reporting), you and the fiscal moron are lamenting over the idea that government revenue is decreasing. Either way I win the point. I detest the way government spends money, MY MONEY, while they take in record setting amounts every year. And if what you say is true, that the government is taking in LESS, I would throw a party, because I don’t give a rat’s ass if the government has to hustle to pay for stupid shit. FYI, I have filed 43 tax returns, every year...in April

Filing your return isn't paying your taxes...it's filing your return. You pay your taxes year round, and when you do your taxes, it's always on the calendar year.

Also, the government's fiscal year begins in October, not April.

So go fuck yourself.

Stop the semantics idiot. When do you report your income to the fucking IRS, and when do you get your precious refund?

You are taxed year round.

The deadline to file your previous calendar year's return is in April, but that's a return on the previous calendar year's taxes.

Also, the government's fiscal year starts October 1st, not April 1st.

Face it...your Russia Tax Cut was just bad policy.

It's funny how Conservatives always devolve their arguments to unverifiable anecdotes. Almost as if the actual, empirical evidence doesn't support anything you say so you just make shit up about yourself.

You want empirical evidence that I won’t lose any sleep over your mouth diarrhea? Sorry, no can do
