Of the 50 people charged in the college scandal, the Washington Free Beacon found only one gave consistently to Republican candidates. Mossimo G. Giannulli, founder of the clothing company Mossimo, Inc., is married to actress Lori Loughlin. He and his wife gave over $500,000 to secure admission to USC for his two daughters via the crew team. Neither daughter rows. He supported Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) in 2016, and Romney and John Boehner before that. He has also donated to Democrats.

Just the normal way that rich kids get into schools without earning it. They did not bribe coaches, just the whole university leadership. If they spent money on the lower people, they might have gotten busted, The Bush's did the same.

According to your articles she's friends with his daughter Gigi. And it doesn't say Rick was on the yacht with them.

Where was Lori Loughlin's daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli when news broke that her parents were indicted for allegedly paying $500,o00 to make it appear that she had been a rower to guarantee her admission to the University of Southern California? Apparently on a billionaire's yacht who also happens to be the chairman of USC's Board of Trustees, TMZ is reporting.

TMZ found out that Olivia was on Rick Caruso's yacht in the Bahamas with the chairman's daughter Gianna and several friends for their spring break. Olivia and Gianna, per TMZ, have been friends for a while now and have posted photos of each other on their Instagrams.

Rick confirmed the news to TMZ himself and told the outlet that Olivia Jade did return to California after the scandal became public. "Once we became aware of the investigation, the young woman decided it would be in her best interests to return home."

"We will make informed, appropriate decisions once those reviews have been completed," Leigh Hopper, a USC spokesperson, told the outlet. "Some of these individuals may have been minors at the time of their application process."
