His statement was CLEAR, had Rump not been president he would have been indicted. Had anyone else committed those acts of criminal obstruction, they would have been charged.

How is what he wanted clear? He approached the investigation in an impartial manner, not sure what they would find. He stated both publicly just now, and in the report, that there was insufficient evidence to charge anyone associated with the Trump campaign with conspiracy with Russian agents. That doesn't mean that there was no conspiracy; it simply means they lacked evidence of it. Therefore it's time to move on from that scenario, and focus on the obstruction. He made it clear that they did not charge nor indict Trump because of DoJ policy. He did *not* "exonerate" him, but passed the football to Congress.

And so when are you all going to admit that Russia made a concerted effort to fuck around in our election, and most likely will try to do it again?

Muller should have written exactly what was found.

I still believe by not saying collusion, he's giving the right wing an out.

And I still can't find in the constitution where it says you can't indict a sitting President?????????????

There was no obstruction. NO ONE got fired. NO ONE destroyed evidence. NO ONE refused to cooperate. NO ONE shut down the investigation NO ONE chose not to release the entire report. NO ONE exercised executive privilege.

Got to admit I was wrong, it was noteworthy, perhaps not to the level some are making it out to be, but from the Trumpkins reaction, nearly a complete reversal of a half hour ago, it didn't make them happy

I always like the first thirty minutes after these things happen to see them flounder, soon the demogogues on Fox and the radio will frame their position for them and then in unison it will be regurgitated here, but that intial response, when they are left on their own, is priceless
