covering McCain

"Trump said he had not been made aware of any plans concerning the ship, tweeting Wednesday night: "I was not informed about anything having to do with the Navy Ship USS John S. McCain during my recent visit to Japan. Nevertheless, @FLOTUS and I loved being with our great Military Men and Women - what a spectacular job they do!"

Navy Cmdr. Clay Doss, a US Seventh Fleet spokesman, told CNN that "all ships remained in normal configuration during POTUS' visit."

The Journal, citing photos it reviewed, reported that a tarp was placed over the USS John S. McCain's name before Trump's arrival and that sailors were instructed to remove any coverings from the ship that included its name.
Asked if the tarp was meant to block Trump's view of the ship, the officials said the tarp had been placed on the ship for maintenance and removed for the visit. U.S. Navy Cdr. Clay Doss, spokesman for U.S. 7th Fleet, told the AP that the tarp was on the ship on Friday but was removed by Saturday morning, the day Trump arrived.

why would the name need to be covered for repairs?

Oh the corruption of the Republican party runs deep and runs right over into the Military! It has for many years.
It's basically a stranglehold of officer level elites in the military that started to surface back during the days when rapes and forced gang-bangs of women recruits went unreported and were being covered up, and whose women victims were being laughed at in Military courts.

Ironic, but McCain at one time was part of this Republican Officer Military Elite and as Senator used to vote against gays, women, and minorities being in the military.

However, he softened through the years and had a change of heart and started voting in favor of gays, women, and minorities in the military in the new century.

What can I say, what goes around, comes around I guess. Or basically, Republicans are just assholes and troublemakers. <-----that's a period right there!

so there you have it

Vets get NO respect and only receive scorn and hate ( and death wishes) from the republican party now unless they lick trumps balls
