Warren passes Biden, takes the lead in prized Iowa poll

I don't think I have ever seen a bigger pile of stupid from you. ;)

Republicans have won 17 of 30 Presidential contests since 1900. That is 56%. Remove outlier Roosevelt from the mix; it becomes 63%.

Democrats RULED the Congress for 44 years since 1933 until BillyBob Clinton lost it for them and Obama again in 2012.

No shit-for-brains; The Democratic Party of the Jackass is on a losing streak no matter how much you morons cry about "stolen" elections.

I was only describing the effect the Iowa Caucus has on the general election!

i THREW IN A FEW COMMENTS JUST FOR FUN! lol!

You just try and have a sense of humor and quit taking everything I say on the chin!

You must be the most miserable person on the planet! LOL!

Why would anyone find stupid humorous? I find yours to be sad and pathetic. ;)

You must be the most miserable person on the planet! LOL!

Projecting again. ;)

Do you tell that to all your leftist pals as well? Of course you don't you dishonest whiny hypocrite.

Hello christiefan915,

The thing that is being overlooked about free college is the ROI.

I wish the proponents would point this out.

Society invests in providing a proper education to the populace and the graduates then go get better jobs which pumps up the economy and revenue. That's the return. Gotta see the big picture. What goes around comes around. It's not like spending on education is thrown away. That's a myth.

Yes, that is exactly right. IMO spending money on education is never a waste. If my taxes increased for this reason I wouldn't complain. If only we could delegate where our tax money went!

Does it matter how that money is spent? We can spend more money but it doesn't necessarily mean that money is reaching the classroom or improving results. Sure, all things being equal we would always like to have more money spent on education. But how do we actually judge the results of the money we spend?

I think the results would be the number of kids who graduated with a college degree and went on to get good jobs and contribute to society. Now this doesn't take away from kids who go to trade schools, business schools, or those kids who don't get any higher education at all. But it's pretty obvious that at minimum a bachelors degree is more and more required to get into some fields.

Good for Liz Warren and who did not see this coming. Biden is a good guy with some baggage but many knew it would begin shaking out this way.

Yeah....nothing like a left wing band wagon jumper. Its almost like the socialist media re-opened the Ukrainian scandal just to get rid of sleepy, creepy uncle China Joe. Hell....everyone saw this coming, just look through the archives from 2 months ago. What you are failing to see coming....is the 2020 ass kicking. Does the circular firing squad really surprise YOU? The left has always ate their own when its comes to personal power and greed. Hell BHO even threw his pastor under the bus...…...

In theory more college degrees is good. And a lot of jobs do require them today unlike in the past. There’s one thing I would point to though. Are kids getting a better edification? For example, high school graduation rates have increased. Generally speaking that is a good thing. We should want higher graduation rates. But if we are lowering standards and pushing kids through the system just to increase that rate have we really accomplished anything?

Same with universities. If more kids take majors that don’t translate into jobs in the real world are some of these degrees really worth the paper they are written on? And the realty is if we make all college free the quality level of education will go down. It’s just an unfortunate reality.

You seem to be suggesting that more kids graduating from HS isn't because they studied enough to complete the work with passing grades. Why do you think standards are lowered and kids are being pushed through the system? I think every school has kids who get a "social promotion" but that's a small number. Your comments seem a little pessimistic. I believe for the most part teachers like and want to teach, and students want to learn.

I'd have to know which degrees you're talking about that might not be worth it. Surely there are no degrees for basket weaving or those other joke majors. Not everybody is equipped to get degrees in the STEM fields. You can still get places with a degree in English or History.

It may be pessimistic but there's a lot of data and information backing that conclusion. Here's just one article on the topic and it's from The Economist.

Grad inflation
The rise in American high-school graduation rates looks puffed-up
Online credit-recovery classes have been implicated in many school scandals

https://www.economist.com/united-st...-high-school-graduation-rates-looks-puffed-up

The impetus for this discussion was college used to be a place to prepare people for the work force. As a history buff myself it's great to see people have a passion for history. But the quality of our work force isn't going to change much if a whole lot more people have history degrees (or sociology, psychology, fine arts, communications etc).

Education is hugely important. But the ROI on all majors isn't the same and thousands more people with history degrees isn't going to change the productivity of our work force in the 21st century.

Too bad she does not have original brilliant answers like treacherous Twitler whose 5th grade vocabulary never stopped him from telling over 12,000 lies and counting.

Stop exaggerating, it is barely 11,000 lies....... SssshiisshhHHH!!!!
:laugh::laugh:

Can she beat trump??

Can she beat Booker, Harris & Bernie in the next debate???

Yes, that is exactly right. IMO spending money on education is never a waste. If my taxes increased for this reason I wouldn't complain. If only we could delegate where our tax money went!

It's a waste if it doesn't lead to any real or good results. So far, idiots like you are an example of how badly they have failed us.

:smh:

No. Biden has and is nothing. He's an enabling Republican. We need a move forward from Southern Democrat GOP enabler, little bitches. He's small minded blue dog, trying to work with idiot fascist, called the GOP.
We need either Sanders or Warren, doesn't matter which one, they are moving in alignment with the current authentic world, not the corporate enablers or the corps whores. That
is where this is going. Warren is the detailed and softer side of Sanders but don't get blinded, these two are real old school progressive movement.

A lot of Democrats agree with you. It seems more and more such radical views have become more prevalent.

* You want to call half the nation 'deplorables'.
* You want to take away peoples guns and any other weapon you arbitrarily deem 'unsuitable'.
* You want to dictate energy markets.
* You want to dictate what light bulb I can buy, what toilet I can buy, what car I can drive, what I am allowed to own, who I can hire for my business, who I can fire from my business.
* You want to punish corporations as 'evil'.
* You want to tell me what I am allowed to eat.
* You want to dictate insurance markets.
* You want to dictate medical care.
* You want to establish the Church of Global Warming as the state religion.
* You want to condemn anyone that does go along with all of these things as 'crazy' and 'dangerous'.
* You want to convict people of crimes without a trial.

No thanks. I'll vote for electoral college members that support Trump (again!).

No I've never used that term or honestly think that way. If I recall that was something Hillary said. I never really cared for her so that's rather irrelevant to me.

* You want to take away peoples guns and any other weapon you arbitrarily deem 'unsuitable'.

lol, no. No I don't, not at all. I'm absolutely for gun rights and I'm a gun owner. I do agree that it does not hurt us to do an open and transparent analysis
of more effective gun legislation that would hopefully create a more rational approach to gun violence but I would be the first to say there are no simple or easy answers.

* You want to dictate energy markets.

No, that's already done by big oil. I'm actually for a free market approach to energy, something conservatives say they are for but in reality show they only care about monopolies.
Rather ironic.

* You want to dictate what light bulb I can buy, what toilet I can buy, what car I can drive, what I am allowed to own, who I can hire for my business, who I can fire from my business.

That's just about every kind of level of stupid. What an idiot meat puppet. None of that is even close to what I think or ever have.

* You want to punish corporations as 'evil'.

lol again, wow. No I own a business, I've nothing against the concept of corporations, incorporating, be a for profit business etc. I'm for the very core principles of Adam Smith that capitalism's second natural check that keeps it from going out of control is a democratic government by people that regulate it. The first regulation being the 'magic silent hand' of competition.

* You want to tell me what I am allowed to eat.

Nope, don't know you and really don't give two shits to the wind what you eat or don't eat.
Honesty sounds a little mentally damaged.

* You want to dictate insurance markets.

No. In health Insurance I want nothing to do with them. I really don't want a middleman that I pay a second mortgage to that goes out of it's way to deny me care if it can.
I'd much rather pay a cheaper amount through a government tax that I can hold accountable through the voting process rather than some underwriter that I cannot hold accountable on any level.

* You want to dictate medical care.

Nope, I want the freedom to go to whatever doctor I wish without paying a second mortgage, quite the opposite. Also I think it would be fantastic for most doctors if they didn't have to hire full time staff just to navigate the insurance payouts and eligibilities.

* You want to establish the Church of Global Warming as the state religion.

Oh look magic unicorn speak. WTF does that even mean? I mean first I literally believe and stand by the principle of separation of church and state. Second 'global warming' is only one scientifically observed phenomena of global environmental change that the human race is already forcing on the planetary biosphere. We are so successful that if we do not figure out how to control ourselves we will mass suicide ourselves in the cult of profit. We are already in a religious cult on a global scale it's called the cult of uncontrolled psychotic consumption and profit. It's tenets are selfishness, gimme gimme now and lie and steal whenever possible. It's ironically very much the cult of the prince of lies. ;)

* You want to condemn anyone that does go along with all of these things as 'crazy' and 'dangerous'.

No idea what that means other than some lame attempt to help legitimize yourself, i. e. cover you ass to discredit any response ahead of what you post. Regretfully that failed rather spectacularly because 'you' have no clue what 'I' think and never asked. Ya' just talked 'at' me.

* You want to convict people of crimes without a trial.

That's literally just a moronic childish statement, that has no meaning whatsoever. Part of magic Unicorn speak I guess.
I literally stand by rule of law and actually can't stand the court of public opinion where one just assumes things about people without asking or waiting for all the facts, huh, kind of like you did here. Ironic lack of self awareness on your part but think tank manipulated meat puppets gonna' puppet.

No thanks. I'll vote for electoral college members that support Trump (again!).

neat.

Interesting how you seem to know what I think without asking me since singular, 'you' is used.
Sadly it's a reflection of a clearly manipulated right wing think tank spewing meat puppet. It shows a luck individuality, almost like a well trained
monkey. Also very propaganda shaped communistic style group think, oh the irony.

Meat puppet gonna' puppet. :orang:

Yes you do. Lie.

I'm going to leave this paradox for all too see. Which is it, dude?

What monopoly? No, oil companies do not dictate energy markets. They have no control over the hydroelectric, nuclear, wind, solar, coal, or natural gas markets. There is no single oil company. There is no oil company called 'Big Oil'.
re: light bulbs and toilets: That's just about every kind of level of stupid. What an idiot meat puppet. None of that is even close to what I think or ever have.
Then why do you support those that do?

I don't believe you own a business.
Nope, don't know you and really don't give two shits to the wind what you eat or don't eat.

A 'deplorable', eh?
No. In health Insurance I want nothing to do with them. I really don't want a middleman that I pay a second mortgage to that goes out of it's way to deny me care if it can.

So you want an oligarchy that dictates health insurance markets and medical care. You somehow think it's 'free'. You are deluded. You are paying MORE because of Obamacare. Canada pays through the nose for their 'free' healthcare, and then don't get 'free' healthcare! They have to go to black market doctors or to the United States for their health care. This is what you want, eh?
Nope, I want the freedom to go to whatever doctor I wish without paying a second mortgage, quite the opposite. Also I think it would be fantastic for most doctors if they didn't have to hire full time staff just to navigate the insurance payouts and eligibilities.
Unicorn thinking. The government does not let you go to whatever doctor you want. Doctors working for the government must have a full time staff just to navigate all the government regulations.
re: The Church of Global Warming: Oh look magic unicorn speak. WTF does that even mean?
Just what it says. The Church of Global Warming is a fundamentalist style religion.
I mean first I literally believe and stand by the principle of separation of church and state.
Lie. You want to establish the Church of Global Warming as a state religion.
Second 'global warming' is only one scientifically observed phenomena of global environmental change that the human race is already forcing on the planetary biosphere.
Scripture right out of the Church of Global Warming.

* Science isn't observations. Observations are subject to the problems of phenomenology. They are evidence only. They are not a proof. They are not a theory. Science is a set of falsifiable theories.
* Define 'climate change'. It doesn't mean anything.
* No gas or vapor has the capability to warm the Earth using IR from the Earth's surface.
** You cannot trap heat (1st law of thermodynamics).
** You cannot trap light (Planck's law).
** You cannot create energy out of nothing (1st law of thermodynamics).
** You cannot heat a warmer surface using a colder gas (2nd law of thermodynamics).
** You cannot reduce the radiance of Earth and increase its temperature (Stefan-Boltzmann law).
You don't own a for profit business, obviously! You are full of BS.
No, socialism can only exist by stealing wealth. Capitalism is the only system that creates wealth.
No idea what that means other than some lame attempt to help legitimize yourself, i. e. cover you ass to discredit any response ahead of what you post.
I didn't use the terms 'crazy' or 'dangerous'. Democrats do. You do as well.
Regretfully that failed rather spectacularly because 'you' have no clue what 'I' think and never asked. Ya' just talked 'at' me.
So it's 'crazy', eh?
