The Constitution does not allow it. Previous attempts to limit money just resulted in (easy to find) other avenues to fund elections. We already have public funding of presidential nominations and elections and it hasn't worked very well. Ever since Obama did not accept the funding for the general election in 2008 none of the other candidates have taken it, either.
Could you give us an example of an election in which money determined your vote? Laws can't fix problems that do not exist.

I can’t say that I have. I just took a quick look at his bio and I can say that he probably isn’t someone I’m going to look into either, lol. It sounds to conspiratorial to me, so not quite sure it’s my bag. But, it doesn’t take a grand conspiracy to figure out how easy it is to control human attention and behavior of the masses. In my footer there is a link thats for a really good podcast on human psychology. We are pretty much monkeys with shoes, and not as bright as we all think we are. Some of us recognize our cognitive biases and some flat out don’t care and just follow our tribes into oblivion. Moneyed involvement in our elections make sure that those easily influenced go out and vote while those who care for honesty are left at home.
