Bush sicks DOJ on Ohio

No biggie. They still have to figure out a way to disenfranchise FL, VA, CO, NC, IN, et al.

They're toast; they can do what they want. It's a given that hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Dem votes are going to be thrown out on election day. It won't be enough.

From the site. Key graph:

...
Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court took up the case and, in a two-page unanimous opinion, dismissed the lower court’s ruling on a technicality. The justices said lawsuits “brought by a private litigant" could not be used to enforce states to abide by federal laws.
"We express no opinion on the question whether HAVA is being properly implemented," the unsigned opinion said. ...

The net effect is that the republican party is trying to keep legal American voters from their sacred right to vote so they can win.

Be proud , be very proud.

You are as hypocritical with this issue as so many others. It's pitiful, really.

You really don't see anything wrong with this? If Barack Obama works two years from now to purge republican voters from texas roles will sit idly by while it happens. This is NOTHING more than a blatant attempt to save the republican party and if you can't see that than you are a miserable example of an american citizen, Fucking miserable.

Another american revolution is long overdue! I'll just sit back, relax with my coffee and enjoy the show! :cof1:

Get off it. A canard, since you and I expect he'll be president in less time than we can shake a stick.

I love how when anyone wants to take a look at voting irregularities, someone else always manages to equate it with "suppressing turnout". They don't actually say how it will suppress the vote, but they just know that it will.

Bottom line....

Things would be so much easier if the US was a dictatorship, but of course, I'd be the dictator. For some reason, this sounds familiar? :cof1:

I dunno; maybe it's because Republicans used the same kind of rules in 2004 to throw out literally hundreds of thousands of ballots, sometimes on even the smallest inconsistency between the registration & the voter's proof of identity.

Maybe that's it.

"But in court filings, GOP officials did not provide documentary evidence to back up those claims. Voting advocates also note that many mismatches can be irrelevant, such as the use of a middle name in one form but not another or a typographical error in a database"

If they are not going to provide the evidence to support their claims, then this is complete bullshit.

Side note.... be very proud of your party Desh for their attempts to eliminate that sacred right to vote when it comes to unions. They are opening THAT vote up to intimidation from the unions, the companies and peers. There is a reason we have secret ballots.

go start a thread about it.

this ones about vote fraud

That is why I addressed the thread first. Then put a "side note" on in response to YOUR comment.

"The net effect is that the republican party is trying to keep legal American voters from their sacred right to vote so they can win."

The side note desh was in direct response to the above.
