Largely cause it is Trump being Trump, he is the President, Americans look to him to provide information and facts, not float false hopes that there is a drug out there that could be the remedy it they just use it when full use of the drug does not have the backing of the medical community at this time

In addition to the unnecessary wishful thinking, it sends a mixed message at a time Americans need to know the truth

Well, ‘the truth’ is the drug shows some promise and that’s basically all Trump said.

And he turned out to be correct and it wasn’t incorrect at the time he said it. I still don’t understand why such a big deal was made out of it.

there ARE facts and research. there are clinical trials as well -albeit without control group ( for obvious reason)

Trump is not a doctor but he does have very refreshing sense of common sense lol.

It’s a big reason he got elected. You’re trying too hard. Any reasonable person would just take all of that to mean ‘this drug shows promise’ and tune out the rest of it.

‘Journalists’ spend way too much time and effort digging through a statement like that looking for little Bad Orange Man Nuggets. What viewers they have, that remain, eat it up.

Again, it’s a big reason their poll numbers are about as abysmal as congress’s are.
