I luv archaeology, and I'm always so disappointed when they show monuments that have been destroyed or defaced by latter leaders.

Reasonably? ... you get them reasonably removed by electing officials who will remove that publicly owned property. Democrat progressives have run those "statue cities" for 50 years and done nothing until today. It took repub Nikki Haley to remove the confederate flag, the Dems put up in SC's captital.

I love archaeology also. I have had the good fortune to be on an archaeological dig in south England...a site dealing with prehistoric humans.

I also was able to watch archaeologists digging in an Egyptian section of Pompeii...and to visit the Pompeian collection of the Naples Museum...including the pornography area, which was off-limits at that time.
