Police officers in Kenosha, Wis., shot a Black man multiple times as he tried to get into a vehicle, cellphone video of the incident shows. The man, identified by Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) as Jacob Blake, is in serious condition, according to the Kenosha Police Department.

The shooting happened after 5 p.m., when officers responded to a domestic incident, police said. Witnesses told the Kenosha News that Blake was trying to break up a fight.

The video shows neighbors congregated outside as two police officers with their guns drawn followed Blake as he approached a gray SUV. As Blake opened the driver’s side door, multiple shots ring out from the police.

Another shooting where all the person had to do to avoid being shot was simply do as the cops say. They dont know if he has a gun in that vehicle or not,... cant take the chance so they fired. Cant blame them a bit.

Let the cops shoot a family member of yours, and let see what you have to say about it.

A man shoot multiple times over a domestic disturbance does raise some serious questions.

Count on you to post something stupid.

Trumper, TOP was pointing out that police officers have to make life and death decisions in a split second.

If they believe a person is going for a weapon, they have the right to defend themselves.

You automatically blame the police.

Why do you do that, Trumper?

Either the guy is too stupid to listen to commands,...or he has been coached by the D's and the media not to listen to commands,.... which is pretty frikkin stupid too. Either way,.... he got what he got because he didnt listen to simple commands. HIS FAULT!

Seriously? Shoot anyone who doesn't do exactly as a cop orders? Shoot anyone who might have a gun? WTF?

Police have shot deaf people for not following orders. Is that the justice you want?

A North Carolina state trooper shot and killed 29-year-old Daniel Harris — who was not only unarmed, but deaf — just feet from his home, over a speeding violation. According to early reports from neighbors who witnessed the shooting this past Thursday night, Harris was shot and killed "almost immediately" after exiting his vehicle.

He appeared to be trying to communicate with the officer via sign language.

"They should've de-escalated and been trained to realize that this is an entirely different situation," neighbor Mark Barringer said. "You're pulling someone over who is deaf, they are handicapped. To me, what happened is totally unacceptable."

Police claim they attempted to pull Harris over for speeding, but he continued driving home instead of pulling over. Whether Harris fully understood what was happening, since he could not have heard the sirens, is unclear. His family, including his siblings, are also deaf and could often be seen communicating with each other via sign language in the neighborhood.
