WE ARE AT WAR and moderates could lose this election AGAIN

I don't think anyone mentioned your name, RB.

Well, I'm sure those from 400 years ago aren't going to "pay up" any time soon. Who does that leave? Me, the taxpayer, that's who.
Who's gonna pay for the government grants to help the few businesses who want to return to these rioted and looted businesses?

Why would anybody 'return'?

Some people are legit moderate. I don't see it as weak - they just don't agree w/ more extreme philosophies.

I wish both parties were more moderate, personally. Over the last few decades - and especially w/ gerrymandering - politicians have drifted toward the outside fringes of their ideologies. Most Americans just aren't that hardcore. Most are purple.

Your boy Rep. Jim Clyburn was the one that gave the nod to Biden. So the choice is Biden or Trump. You would think that would be an easy choice.

Clyburn is older than I am, so I’m not comfortable calling him my boy ... but I get your point, not accusing you of anything.

Clyburn represents another era, another time. Another generation of political leaders who deserve great respect. But the problem is as much generational as it is racial. Most moderates are as old as Clyburn, as Clinton, an as old as Biden. They don’t understand progressives, the youth, or this culture. Mostly, they don’t even want to talk to them, don’t even want to see them ... especially young black males.

Point being, if moderates don’t get more involved and connected to this war and more connected to its progressive base, we won’t be the only ones to lose this war. Democracy it self is at risk.

A few won't leave their homes and will stay.

I answered your question despite the fact that you
deflected from my question. Attention span lacking?

RB: "Who's gonna pay for the government grants to help the few businesses who want to return to these rioted and looted businesses?"
Jack: RB. You're a Communist, support 'Government Grants', and want Big Brother to Control the Economy.

WTF?

BAC: "Clyburn is older than I am, so I’m not comfortable calling him my boy ... but I get your point, not acussing you of anything."
Jack: Colloquial.

Jack; Agreed.

At this point, the only solution is for a overwhelming vote for Biden.

Biden locked up hundreds of thousands of blacks in the 90s, Dumbo.

I don’t disagree with much you’ve said... however, we are at war., The Right believes they are at war and democrats are twiddling their thumbs while it’s most loyal base are being killed for the color of our skin. What next, they bring back lynching? Will that get moderates off their collective asses to start screaming about it?

Not screaming at you. Appreciate your perspective. Just tired of this.

I wished BAC well when he got cancer but I have nothing but contempt for his race war bullshit. Why do you treat him with kid gloves ffs?

I agree with that. An energized and overwhelming vote is required for all the ways that trump will cheat, and cheat he will. But weakness attracts nobody. This generation is not attracted to weakness, especially true of Black people, more especially true of young black people and progressives. If Pelosi and the party take them for granted again, it will be at their peril.

What "justice" from over 400 years ago do you want from me?

I don’t want shit from you, nobody does.

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m not even talking to nor about you.

But I appreciate your need to butt into an adult conversation with a 3rd grade question.

Jack: I'm guessing you mean 'moderate'? I think Biden was picked because that's what he is ... moderate. Able to attract previous Trump Voters.

BAC: "If Pelosi and the party take them for granted again, it will be at their peril."
Jack: Who else are they going to vote for?

Where's all the 'Police reform' laws being passed? Has Congress repealed the Nixon 'No-Knock' laws? 'Qualified immunity'? Independent Civilian Review Boards'?
You know, maybe all this energy being used to burn down the local Dry Cleaners is being wasted?

Also, on the flip side, there has to be a recognition that the Police have a role to play. You can't walk away from them, hop in your car, and drive off. (not saying that deserves 7 shots in the back, but walking to your car and reaching in is the perfect excuse for the "He went for a Gun" defense)
