Yoga:Hindu in origin

It depends on how you practice it. There are many yogas that have to do with how to achieve oneness with Atman - the higher self. Yoga an an exercise is just exercise, however, and a very good way to relax.

And, Buddhism isn't a religion, on a side note (which is where this ended up last time you tried to make this bone-headed point, and I don't remember how you jumped from Hindu to Buddhism).

Buddhism is a religion too. So is hinduism. Anything which posits any kind of other dimensions, higher consciousness, irrational stuff... is a religion, especially when accompanied by a moral code, as are both of those.

You know why idiots hate being admitting Buddhism and Hinduism are religions?

So they don't have to acknowledge their double standard of tolerance for all religions but christianity. QFT.

Let's see. What other lies are being injected into the collective memescape?

Buddhism isn't a religion.

There is only one race.

Globalization is inevitable.

^^lies

Hinduism is certainly a religion.

Your problem is you dont have any clue what Buddhism is. Have you ever taken a college-level philosophy course? Have you ever studied Siddhartha Guatama?

Fill out an application for anything. Right there are the checkboxes. Race is real for that reason.

The idea that race isn't real is a genetic one, saying that "race" is a societal construct only and has no basis in genetics. This is true, and it's exactly what you're saying. What you're looking at on those forms is the product of society, not genetics.

Guess what. Society is real, and living in it, it's realities intrude upon us.

... you're not making any sense now.

I am real. I say you are retarded. That does not make you retarded.

Society has categorized people into races for a lot of different reasons, and the IDEA of race is very real. The idea has no genetic foundation in reality, however.

But it is REAL enough in the sense that it can have an impact on getting you hired or not hired. That's real. Your "no basis in genetics" notion cannot be heard amongst the shrieks to "Kill whitey".

So really... to sum it up... you had to backpeddle from "race isn't real" to "well, it has no basis in genetics". (sickle cell anemia??)

I love the smell of pwnage in the morning.

Race isn't real. I'm not back peddling because the race existing as a concept is a "duh" idea that I thought until now was assumed by everyone. The concept of race, is however, incorrect thought the concept itself exists.

It's difficult to have a conversation with someone as far gone as you because there's no baseline of understanding from where one can begin at common ground.

You said it's SOCIALLY real. Isn't SOCIALLY real DE FACTO REAL in most cases, especially when it comes to highly impactful race based public policy, enforced by law and teams of anti white, anti-christian, anti-male brainwashed attorneys?

You seem to make a distinction between real and socially real, and then you seem to discard the more actually impactful SOCiAL reality.

I assume the answer to the question of whether or not you've ever taken a college-level philosophy class is no because you never went to college.

So you do make a distinction between the real and socially real? Is this question hard for you?

Get back on your short bus, retread.

What the heck are you talking about? The CONCEPT of race EXISTS because SOCIETY has made the mistake of assuming there was some basis for categorizing people that way. Genetics came along and we learned it had no basis anthropologically, but it's still used because people still don't understand that fact. And categorization a useful tool for allotting money to groups of people discriminated against by people who still believe there is a genetic basis for it.

The distinction to be made here is the difference between PERCEPTION and REALITY. Society perceives something falsely called "race." While the perception exists, it is not based on reality. Ergo, race is not real.

Here's a good analogy. Society says God is real too. In the sense that my life is worse off because society pushes that idea is real. People fly real airplanes into real buildings because of this idea. God, however, is clearly not real. The consequences of the concept of God, however, are real.

But it is being used to categorize and discriminate, you say usefully. How can it be used if it isn;t real? How do you know which individuals go in which false race?

I've never seen a more complete brainwash job. You are truly hideous inside and stupid as a rock.

Please refer to the God analogy.

Well golly gee how can people fly airplanes into buildings and stuff if God 'taint real!?! Guess God hasta be real!
