No faithful Christian can support Trump. These are just the people who "repent" for an hour a week and then resume acting like hypocritical assholes for the other 167 hours. They pay a lot of lip service to Christ, but they are not followers of him.

^ Truthiness. Yep. If there really was a Jesus and He came back today, He would be driving the Trumps out of the WH with His whip. You're an international traveler and businessman. Do you agree that the Jesus that is worshiped by Christians outside of the U.S. is quite a different guy than the one the Cult of Toadstool follows?

It's more than denial. They denied the Mueller report and denied Trump's vile mouth, etc. They have gone full blown delusional about the election. I wish I was enjoying it. I'm really just disgusted with them and wish all of them would disappear.

They're not going to. The Trump supporters who had any integrity and deserved any respect abandoned him a long time ago. The rest of them are more worthless than a baby's filled diaper. They're human trash. They deserve no forgiveness and don't want it anyway.

Of course I do. In my experience, Christians outside the US behave much more in line with the Jesus Christ described in the Bible than most American Christians do. Above all, they demonstrate humility and tolerance for "others" much more than American Christians do. I'm not exactly sure why that is. Even non-religious Americans tend to be more smug and less understanding of differences and less curious about them, so I think part of it is cultural. There is also a lot of judgment of people that gets preached from American pulpits. I have attended services in other countries (and even some in the US) that emphasize the good examples that Jesus set rather than condemning the actions of other people. That sort of is the point, I think. None of us are "without sin", so to judge someone else's sins as worse than one's own (especially when they're not worse at all) is hypocritical; and hypocritical is the first word I would use to describe most American Christians.

The Democratic party does gerrymander. The Republican party just does it much more and much worse. I can't immediately think of any evil tactics that the Republicans use that the Democrats do not also use, even if to a lesser extent. I don't think the modern Democrats would have stolen two SCOTUS seats, but I imagine those bets are off the table now.
