A monopoly is naturally self destructive. It's not long before some little company comes along and shoots your kneecaps off. The monopoly, being a big company is not maneuverable enough to change quickly enough. A monopoly can ONLY sustain it's monopoly with government help.

Examples: the tiny, but ignored little companies that developed the miniature and then the personal computer and completely floored IBM's monopoly of computers. The development of the transistor by AT&T that completely floored RCA's electronic tube monopoly. The Japanese cars that completely floored the Big Three automakers in the U.S.

Oh, IBM, AT&T, RCA, Ford, General Motors are still around, but they are no longer monopolies.

Unions were only able to thrive here temporarily because after WWII, the U.S. was almost the only place that had the infrastructure to support major manufacturing. That global paradigm has changed. The U.S. no longer has a global monopoly on infrastructure.

The Unions got greedy and priced themselves right out of a job.

Corporations got greedy and moved out of the country.
Even with teabagger tax cuts, they moved.
Meanwhile everyone else had to make up for the taxes, teabaggers didn't pay.

this shows me that you're not too aware of reality.......but that doesn't suprise me. most of you sheeple who need to be told by governments whats best for you are too terrified to confront the limitations imposed on you, by you, all in the name of security theater.

I confronted them and won. Never depended on them for a job and paid into taxes more than what most of you minions ever earn. Didn't even need a 401k from a corporation, had my own and contributed to my employees' thru profit sharing.

Consumers are greedy. Corps meet their demands. Greedy Libs are the most obsessed with money, ... other people's money. :laugh:

There is very little, if any, evidence of U.S. Corps murdering their workers because they demanded more money. :palm:
