How did he think his supporters would interpret "you will never take back our country with weakness?" It sounds like a call to rise up and physically fight, but I'm open to hearing trumpers' explanation for those words.

My rule is to never try to rationalize the actions of an irrational mind. Who fucking knows what goes on inside Trump's head? He's delusional. His best bet is to follow the lead of New York mobsters and seek an insanity defense like Vincent "The Chin" Gigante.
