seriously though, I kid, the point being when you say "in theater" you are claiming to be a war vet. while he said "times" at times there are numerous claims where he states "vietnam veteran" and clearly solicited donations in violation of federal stolen valor laws with this.
its not unproven, snopes is wrong. but would NEVER get this type of wrong on a right winger.

Actually when he said "in theater", he was referencing to the box on his discharge paper.

he was a vietnam era veteran who server on and off in california as a repairman who went awol at least 3 times which most likely led to a less than honorable discharge.

no we do, he lied, stole valor and gained financial gain from said stolen valor.

I appreciate that, but it's fact and I challenge you or anyone to offer counter evidence to said claims.
stolen valor is a big deal to veterans. and he clearly stole valor. its not even a right vs left thing, Im not even a right winger, but I digress. the fact he openly stole valor and the "news" industry looked the other way is a big deal to many of us.

dunno, but I would guess the first offense be a misdemeanor with a fine and a warning not to do it again, I would not support his imprisonment.
