the AR-15 follies: Here we go again!

isn't that the point?

I don't see where the constitution promises us the right to intimidate one another with military firearms.
It indeed is the point.
The AR15, with which I'm disgustingly familiar, is an offensive weapon in both connotations of that word.
The constitution doesn't give us the right to do to one another what the weapon was designed to do.
That is exactly the point.

As for Oom, suicide is your hang-up, not mine.

Be afraid of his fucking AR15.
isn't that the point?
 Yes.

This too:

it's not about intimidation. It's about showing that you can defend yourself warning anyone else not to commit a crime against you
It indeed is the point.

the only offensive weapons out there are in the hands of the government in the form of bombs and nukes.
The constitution doesn't give us the right to do to one another what the weapon was designed to do.
That is exactly the point.
i've never claimed that the constitution gives anyone the right to assault or kill people. Some of you have claimed that it gives the government the right to do that though, and that is the point.

How many of those "gun deaths" are suicides? 2/3s? Not that Democrats care. LOL

Over 48,000 Americans commit suicide every year, but Democrats don't care except for the 24,000 that used a gun. Want to guess how many shots are fired in a suicide or the type of weapon used?

How many Democrats are stupid enough to think banning semi-automatic rifles and pistols or high capacity magazines would change that suicide rate?

https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/statistics/suicide.shtml
  • According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) WISQARS Leading Causes of Death Reports, in 2018:
  • Suicide was the tenth leading cause of death overall in the United States, claiming the lives of over 48,000 people.
  • Suicide was the second leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 10 and 34, and the fourth leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 35 and 54.
  • There were more than two and a half times as many suicides (48,344) in the United States as there were homicides (18,830).

A suicide IS a gun death, pally boy. Ever seen one? They look just like most other gun deaths.

Who said certain gun bans would prevent all suicides. Jethro? Certainly not me.

But the ease of access to guns by people who should not have them is a contributing factir.

What part of “both” is difficult for you to grasp?

The part where you don't understand fiscal reality and the definition of prioritization.

You might as well be posting "Let's all pray for World Peace". Duh. That'd be nice but making it happen requires more than Democratic crocodile tears.

Here are not-so-rare events. 40,000 gun deaths per year. New record in 2020.

Rare? Nope. Common? Yep

Incredibly rare. Half are suicides; cars kill more, but Nazi Democrats don't care. Nazi Democrat CovidScam caused.

Incredibly. Yup. Nope. Nope.

Actually when you do some digging you can find the truth about "Mass Shootings", look at all the "Mass Shootings" WIKI lists, then go down and look at the details. Seems most of these mass shooting are not some person going out and buying a firearm and walking into a store or massage parlor and shooting up the place, the majority are either done by criminals/gangs or others that usually do not even legally own the firearm or do not care spit about the law.
The Devil is in the details...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...previous year , there were 181 more incidents.

Sorry, I’m not referring to just mass shootings when I refer to the 40,000 deaths.

this is just one example to show that you dont know what the fuck you are EVER talking about. there is a REASON that the founders denied the federal government to define the limits of their own power AND to add 'shall not be infringed' AND to believe in unalienable rights. their concerns over governments and standing armies included the government not being able to say 'if you're anti government, then you're nuts and have no right to arms'...

they didn't allow it and nor will we, dumbfuck

You have bored me with your stupidity enough for now.

Buh bye, idiot.

I'm beginning to feel "commonplace" for owning both a Ruger Super Blackhawk and a Colt Gold Cup .45.
All the idiots are displaying stuff like I own.

I'm depressed now.
Show off your assault rifles so that I can feel superior again.
Good to see proof you're a hypocrite. SOP for Democrats.

You can always increase "gun deaths" by one, but I think it's inconsiderate to leave a mess behind. Who wants to find the body of a loved one rotting from hanging in their trailer home much less one where their brains are all over the ceiling and walls? Who's going to clean that up? If it's been a few days, who is going to get rid of the smell?

OTOH, the chronically depressed are mentally ill and not thinking straight. Are you confessing to mental illness, neef?

I doubt there's many fat Somalians. Due to Trump fucking up the COVID response, many Americans are suffering "food insecurity", but I have yet to hear of one actually starving to death like is happening elsewhere around the world.

Example:
https://www.care.org/our-work/disaster-response/emergencies/somalia-food-insecurity-crisis/
Famine was last declared in Somalia six years ago, and more than 260,000 people died – more than half of them children. Nearly half of the deaths occurred before the famine was even declared. It’s expected that the current drought will be worse than in 2011. Three-quarters of the country’s livestock have already died. Goats, camels and crops are Somalis’ bank accounts and farmers have seen their farms go dry and their animals die of hunger and disease in front of them. Cereal production has dropped by 70 percent, and prices are skyrocketing.

We’re talking about the US, DU.

You might as well be posting "Let's all pray for World Peace". Duh. That'd be nice but making it happen requires more than Democratic crocodile tears.

I don’t pray. Useless practice other than to make one feel good about themselves.

Fiscal reality? Depends one’s priorities all right. I’d love to see an effort to minimize those 40,000 unnecessary deaths, wouldn’t you? Versus tax cuts for the wealthy or bloated military spending.

The fact you don't understand the fundamental differences of murder vs. suicide indicates a disconnect from legal reality and human rights.

Do you support assisted suicide? Pulling the plug on "vegetative state"? If you do, then you are a hypocrite.
