Atlanta 'defund the police' backer has car stolen -- by kids in broad daylight:

That is a concept that eludes LV426 completely. He seems to think that people deserve the wage they want not the one offered for the value of the work being done.

But it's not for the value of the work.

You proved that when you said you would flip burgers for $350K/year.

When the government is competing with business for labor (using borrowed money), we're in trouble.

Government isn't competing because they're not employing anybody.

Businesses need to raise wages if they want good workers.

After all, if you were paid $350K to flip burgers, you would, right? Because it's so easy?

Now, originally unemployment insurance was deducted from a worker's pay to cover their potential dismissal from a job. That was an insurance coverage to tide them over until they found other work. What you are arguing is that unemployment payments are just welfare by another name.

No, they're unemployment benefits because you cost them their jobs when you couldn't control the lies that came out of your mouth about COVID last year.

This is your fault, by the way. You and Trump share equal blame for this because you lied about COVID, you repeated lies about COVID, and turned outbreaks into a pandemic.

Can't afford where you live on what you make? Move. Buy luggage and move.

If you can't afford an apartment, how can you afford luggage and movers?

Will you pay them in magic?

You want higher pay? Then show an employer you are worth being paid more, don't demand they pay you more for doing the same job just because you feel you are underpaid.

Well, it's employers who are complaining they cannot find workers, not the other way around.

So it's an employer problem, not a worker problem.

That problem is that you're not entitled to own a business, but workers are entitled to fair wages.

Only the government can do that...

For the rest of us, we have to earn our living, not just take it from other people...

Well, it's employers who are complaining they cannot find workers, not the other way around.

Okay, so? Maybe employers should start telling their politicians to cut back on the welfare checks so people will get jobs. After all, that is who they are competing with here...

So it's an employer problem, not a worker problem.

No, it's a problem with competition. The government is paying more than the employer is willing to and the government is demanding nothing for their payment in return. It's a big win for the lazy and incompetent.

The problem is that you're not entitled to own a business, but workers are entitled to fair wages.

And, you are not entitled to set your wage at whatever you think you should get...
