But, I do not believe High School students are too young to have an opinion as to whether Systemic Racism exists or not- which is the thesis of the theory itself.

So, if High School students wanted to debate Critical Race Theory in say DRAMA Class or Government, or History class, I have no problem with that.

You would be surprised to know how much High School students know and have an opinion about- just speaking from their own experiences in life so far!

So, if the HS students are debating this theory in class- GOOD FOR THEM!

1) As I said earlier, isn't it funny how they keep saying this bigoted hate and discrimination isn't being taught, but then we see all these stories like the OP, where someone is freaking out over having to STOP teaching it...which tells people with functioning brains that they must have BEEN teaching it originally?

I would not be surprised by that. I was a high school student once, and for I think the first time ever, we are in complete agreement. I would have no problem with students voluntarily debating something like this. As long as it's not being taught as curriculum. The University of Chicago college of education is also making learning CRT mandatory for teachers as part of their degree program.
