Limbaugh On The Sanford Affair: It's Obama's Fault!

I'm embarrassed the Democrats aren't day after day repudiating the hateful screech from Keith Overblown, Rachel Madcow, Chrissy(tingles) Matthews..

get real... the Gop should repudiate Rush...how stupid...
We have grown ups in the party...

I think it is silly that the left is once again trying to make Rush into a "leader". He didn't even appear on the radar on the poll that showed that there is no current one-person leadership of the party recently.

I remember stating that I liked that, it shows that we are in a rebuild and unlikely to select the same type of leadership that we had the past 8 years.

Now, we get some silly thing about Rush, Cheney, and Palin? Please. This is just the left talking points trying to define again who "leads". We'll pick our own leaders, we don't need silliness from the left trying to pick strawmen.

Hmmmm . . .

he Republican Party is in need of a leader and boost in its self-esteem, a new poll suggests.

Nearly half (47 percent) of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents surveyed in a USA Today/Gallup Poll failed to come up with a single name when asked who is the party's spokesperson.

Of the names that were mentioned, radio host Rush Limbaugh and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich received the most nods. Each was named by 10 percent of Republicans as the voice of their party.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney was close behind, at 9 percent.

10%. Yeah, you hold on tight to that... It's clear that nobody is the "leader" of the party at this time, this is just silly talking point idiocy when you try to define such a minority as defining "the leader".

He was at the top of the poll.

It's fun to watch you try to tapdance around this....

I don't consider any of them a leader of the party. It is amusing to watch the left spin.

When the "top" of the poll gets 10%, and you grip on to that, well.... It is direct evidence of what I called it. Talking point idiocy. The poll clearly shows exactly what I said, we're in a rebuilding period, and IMO that is good. There is an eternity between now and the elections that will matter, we have time to select solid leadership that will promote what the majority of the party wants.

Hey, dumb ass...didn't Louisiana have their own state government and wasn't it their responsibility to plan for a disaster and take care of it's citizens living there??

shame shame shame on you..you are the worst spreader of lies...DA

Yea, well what about Mississippi and Alabama and Texas? Do you ever do any thinking? Is it all the party line straight from Fox News?

What about them? None of them had government-created swimming pools in the 9th Ward. Does the State and local government bear any responsibility toward their citizens? It wasn't just Bush who failed those people, no matter how hard people wish it so.

When your best backup on a thread is TuTu, you may want to reconsider the strength of your position.

Just food for thought.
Please, the facts back me up. When you grip onto a 10% "majority" then you are gripping onto nothing. There isn't even enough room on that rope to grip with a whole hand, let alone two.

That's lame.

Bush got blame where he deserved blame: Iraq, Katrina, energy policy, fiscal policy, et al.

He didn't get blamed for affairs. Rush is a cartoon character.

Katrina??? why was that GW's fault? Cause the mayor down there didn't want to use all those parked buses ? Cause ya couldn't let the trucks in with supplies cause it was a war zone? cause in the Dome people were raping kids?

The governor wasn't too swift either. Louisiana had an emergency plan set-up that they didn't bother to follow.

The head of FEMA was a crony whose only previous executive experience was with horses.

We can start there.

Do you want me to continue?

Lets continue with the fact that there were trucks lined up with supplies but couldn't get in cause it was a war zone and not safe to get in

My Dad lives in FL. he lost everything in a hurricane as did his neighbors, they were all seniors and didn't rape or kill each other, they pitched in and helped each other, instead of laying on there asses blaming GW and guess what the supplies and the help was there, GW was president then also, maybe just maybe if ya help yourself people will help you

some validity there. Ignoring the GW part.

Many people not in NO were hit hard by the hurricane. They just pitched in and worked to clean it up. And helped each other thru it.

During and after the ice storm here last winter, we all just helped out and carried chain saws in our cars for a while. I drove my tractor 15 miles down the road the next morning shoving trees out of the road. I had my handyman delivering food and bringing people back here to my home with him.
I also had him make an oxygen run to town for some neighbors that needed oxygen to live.
I had my house overflowing with local people with no power or heat. I have wood head and generators and lots of food.

I think the main difference is in the age groups and the difference between city and country folk.

I think you are exactly right, when tragedy strikes ya should help eachother not wait for the Gov.
