I can't pretend to know Biden's intent here. In his mind he may have been paying a compliment, it just came out wrong/weird or he meant nothing by it - it was just simply an age thing. But we all know the history of white people calling black people boy.

In our hyper partisan world we know that if Biden had a R next his name the response to this would different. He wouldn't be getting a pass, no matter his intent.

Racism has always been, and will always be, an inherent part of the Democrat Party.
