I didn't blame the Taliban for 9/11, I blame Al Qaeda. I blame the Taliban for giving Al Qaeda safe harbor in Afghanistan and Saddam Hussein in part for helping to fund those that carried it out via the Iraqi embassy in Hamburg Germany.

El Salvador 61.8
Jamaica 57
Venezuela 56.3

The top five US cities for murder rates (per 100,000) are:

St. Louis 69.4
Baltimore 51.1
New Orleans 40.6
Detroit 39.7
Cleveland 35.7

So, yes, there are US cities that are more dangerous than the most dangerous nations on the planet.

You can bet your bippy that the feds are checking all the sales and making sure that all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed.

They sell the gun ... now the owner has to protect it. If it is a wash sale ... the feds will know and said wash purchaser already has legal penalties. However, the chickago popo has to stand down ... the thugs know it ... and now they get to pass the buck back to the store ... because popo gots ta make somebody at fault.

9/11 was a singular event. It took the US by surprise. No one, anywhere, had done something like that. So, it isn't a valid comparison to the daily violence that goes on in the US.
