What's up with Dorsey I keep hearing Chief's want to trade him.
Cassel will prob put up better numbers than Vick based on NE performance.

Michael Vick career stats....

11505 passing yards, 3859 rushing, 71 TDs passing, 21 TD rushing, 52 INTS, 55 fumbles in 74 starts

Per game....

155 passing yards, 52 rushing, 1.24 TDs, 0.70 INTs, 0.74 fumbles

Kyle Orton career stats

5319 passing, 92 rushing, 30 TDs passing, 3 TDs rushing, 27 INTS, 20 fumbles in 33 starts.

per game...

161 passing, 2.78 rushing, 1 TD, 0.81 INT, 0.60 fumbles

If you break down the comparison of Vicks first three years vs. Ortons... Orton wins.

Chiefs are switching to a 3-4 defense. Dorsey is a 4-3 DT. He is not likely to do well in the 3-4 at end. Though that is where he will play for us this year. No way does anyone take on the salary cap of Dorsey right now. personally I think he is a good player with the potential to become a pro-bowler. But not in a 3-4 system.

Again, that is Vicks entire career average, which did go up in his last three years. When you compare their first three years to each other, Orton is better.

Bottom line though, 200 total yards and 1 touchdown from your starting QB is not good. That is below average. The ONLY reason Vick made it to the pro bowl a few times is because people will wait the whole game for that one phenomenal run. 155 passing yards per game for a career? That is friggin pathetic and it is why people knock Vick as a QB.

My son love's fantasy football, I did it for a decade but stopped a decade ago when I started obsessing on stocks. I'd take Vick 7days a weak over orton.

I have to agree, people would have reacted better if it were people fighting to the death and not having dogs do it. People in the USA have their priorities and dogs are number one.

Vick has never played in the Super bowl... he did make it to the NFC championship game thanks to Dunn. He has ONE playoff win (when Dunn and Duckett ran for a couple hundred yards and three scores and Rossom had a monster day) in which he pass for less than 100 yards. He has one playoff loss in which he passed for 132 yards. Wait and see what Orton does with the my little ponies this year.

In the AFC? not a chance Orton gets to the Pro Bowl. Not with Manning and Brady automatically taking up two spots every year.

Side note: you are also basing your decision on what they have done in the past. So take a look at the last two years. Who has the better numbers... Orton or Vick?
