First of all, wtf is he going to "call me out" for? YOU think there is something wrong with what I wrote, and SF thinks so, but maybe he doesn't. Should he pretend he does so he gets accolades from you and SF? Maybe he doesn't want accolades from you and SF.

It's a big issue with Yurt, because he spends so much time "calling out" the righties on this board, like meme, Tutu, Southern Man, et al. He's a real equal opportunity caller-outer.

I want accolades from everyone. I am seeking universal praise for my humble efforts here.

this is a generalization and at a minimum an overbroad statement that is not true:

Here is the real racism in this country. It is institutionalized. It is in the cops, it is in doctors, it is in teachers. Imagine being a person of color and not knowing if the doctor you are seeing for your serious illness just sent out a mass email with President Obama portrayed as a witch doctor with a bone through his nose as the the Florida neurosurgeon who was President of a medical association and a leading anti-health reform crusader, just did. Now, maybe you are seeing him because you have a brain tumor. Nothing you go see a neurosurgeon for is going to be particularly good. You don't even know if your doctor views you as human, and you are forced to put your life in his hands.

How'd you like to be a person of color and have this thug (story below) have complete power over you during a traffic stop?

This is what the screams of "the coloreds are racist!" are covering up. And anytime I see someone say that I know them to be a racist. And I don't give a shit what they say. They may fool you. They don't fool me, and they don't fool any smart or educated person.

my generalization for the most part is true and accurate, i wouldn't expect a partisan hack like you to see it though

There is absolutely nothing untrue about what I wrote. Of course some cops, teachers and doctors are racists. Probably more cops are than doctors and teachers, but all three groups contain racists.

What else do the three groups have in common?

They all weild power of some kind.

You are another one who has not the first clue of what institutionalized racism is, and yet here you are yakking.

How can you say a broad generalization is "true and accurate"?

For a broad generalization to be "true and accurate," as you have applied it, you would need MANY more examples than the thin crop you have provided, or the results of some poll that differentiates between liberals & conservatives.

It's not enough to just say "I have shown this broad, sweeping generalization to be true and accurate, because I have provided a quote!"

LOL That reminds me of a story that happened to me in Memphis, TN. I walked into a blues bar, looked around and saw I was the only white person in the place. The doorman looked at me with a rather suspicious look and asked me if I was carrying a knife? I said "uhh, no" and he pulled out a 6 inch hunting knife, handed it to me and said "Here, you'll need this!". My eyes grew about as big around as saucers before he cracked up laughing and said "Just kidding. You'll be fine, have fun."
