actually no....one can work and operate at a loss and pay no taxes...assuming their work for themselves...i got that from a CPA on another board who works for themselves (is that gender neutral?)

everyone can get health care in this country..we already have medicare and medicaid..and the friggen Government isn't doing so hot running these...so this bs people can't get health care is just that, bs..

i never said that....but to claim it was a majority is simply untrue....a few weeks or months ago that was true...but as you can see....the numbers are falling

yeah, like maybe 3.07%?......so maybe if you tally every single person who has to pay even $10 a year you can bring it down to 32%.....but it doesn't change the fact that half of the people pay all except 3% of the taxes....

Ummm, when you move out of your parent's house, and they finally cut off your allowance, you will learn that federal income tax is only one type of a myriad of taxes paid by working americans.

Can you go back to google and show us the stats of who pays the lions share of the payroll tax, the gasoline tax, the property tax, the sales tax, and the the plethora of federal and state revenue fees?

I could give you the answer, but googling it would be a good exercise in reality for you.
 
The age divide is really odd. There are lots of people over 50 that are already enrolled in a government sponsored single-payer system yet they oppose the "Obama plan." This smells more like tribalism (and yes, that cuts both ways) reflecting the age divide in support for Obama in the election as opposed to a divide on this specific issue.

Why is medical costs the number one reason for personal bankruptcy?

Might not be now with the adjustable mortgages and layoffs though.
