Jan 19 (Reuters) - People who had previously been infected with COVID-19 were better protected against the Delta variant than those who were vaccinated alone, suggesting that natural immunity was a more potent shield than vaccines against that variant, California and New York health officials reported on Wednesday.

Vaxxing does not stop transmission. Just about every expert says that.

The only one saying that it does...is someone like you, when you do one of these fabrications.

I think the information has always been that vaxxed + previous infection is the platinum standard. Of course, many who were infected, died before they could get vaccinated. Covid has always been like playing Russian roulette. And with mass numbers, someone's gun is always going to be loaded when the trigger is pulled. That's why it's so irresponsible to claim a previous infection bestows natural immunity. People have lived through their first bout, and died upon reinfection.

I had Covid in March 2020, I have a family member who is a nurse and she had it early on. So I got it even before NY Pause. I have no underlying conditions, and I also had luck, because many with no underlying conditions died anyway. But my chamber was empty. The worse symptom I had was the most awful headache of my life, which lasted for five days. On one of those days the hellishly loud fire alarm in my building went off. That day I thought I might die, but at that point, with my head splitting, it was more wishful thinking. I never had shortness of breath. So I was never even close to being hospitalized.

Since then, I've been fully vaccinated and boosted. So I am 3x vaxxed and prior infection. I have no worries. The problem is, I care about people who aren't me. Others don't. That's a sad way to live and I've no doubt makes for a very empty life.

You lied about natural immunity.

You said it was indefinite.

Then you said it was 8-10 months.

But the truth is that it's 90 days, and about 1/3 of them don't develop natural immunity anyway.
