first off Putin has a lot of forces in reserve he has to throw in now - which means the infrastructure and killing civilians
Biden hasnt done anything helpful but call Putin names and dismiss legit secutiry claims
On the other hand Putin has more then jumped the shark by trying to take the whole of Ukraine whereas he at least has a legit claim in Donbas.

Agreed. Putin was delusional to think he could roll into Ukraine and be met with flowers and thankful praise. He's taking a beating and TWO nuclear threats in one week indicates he's taking a lot of shit behind closed doors.

Simply recognizing Donetsk and Lugasnk and reinforcing them militarily without preventing huge shipments of arms arriving in Ukraine from foreign predators is not a long-term solution to Russia's security. Putin has to neutralize Ukraine and- as it's an existential matter- he'd be wise to put everything behind it, as I'm sure he knows.

I'm currently wondering how he's going to stop all that NATO contraband from entering the country. The Israeli fascists blockade of occupied Palestine might offer a suitable example.

Biden has, without demanding credit, put an international coalition together that is imposing devastating sanctions on Russia. Trump would not have done it, and even if he had wanted to, he could not have done it, because it requires working in the background and sharing credit with other nations. IT takes diplomacy and subtle unknown work that Trump has no ability to do, it takes intelligence.
