Mary Jo Kopechne back in spotlight

Nope there are NO reports of any such thing.

These are right wing talking points.

Wrong bonehead...

Discovery of the body

Earlier that morning, two amateur fishermen had seen the overturned car in the water and notified the inhabitants of the cottage nearest to the pond, who called the authorities at around 8:20 am.[14] A diver was sent down and discovered Kopechne's body at around 8:45 am.[15] The diver, John Farrar, later testified at the inquest that Kopechne's body was pressed up in the car in the spot where an air bubble would have formed. He interpreted this to mean that Kopechne had survived for a while after the initial accident in the air bubble, and concluded that
“ Had I received a call within five to ten minutes of the accident occurring, and was able, as I was the following morning, to be at the victim's side within twenty-five minutes of receiving the call, in such event there is a strong possibility that she would have been alive on removal from the submerged car.[8] ”

Farrar believed that Kopechne "lived for at least two hours down there."[16]

Divers are medical examiners? what did the autopsy say?

Divers are medical examiners? what did the autopsy say?
Autopsy
The medical examiner, Dr Donald Mills, was satisfied that the cause of death was accidental drowning. He signed a death certificate to that effect and released Kopechne's body to her family without ordering an autopsy.[24] Later, on September 18, District Attorney Dinis attempted to secure an exhumation of Kopechne's body in order to perform a belated autopsy,[25] citing blood found on Kopechne's skirt and in her mouth and nose "which may or may not be consistent with death by drowning".[26] The reported discovery of the blood was made when her clothes were turned over to authorities by the funeral director.[27]
A Pennsylvania court under Judge Bernard Brominski held a hearing on the request on October 20–21.[25] The request was opposed by Kopechne's parents.[25] Eventually Judge Brominski ruled against the exhumation on December 10, saying that there was "no evidence" that "anything other than drowning had caused the death of Mary Jo Kopechne".[28]

Kennedy attended her funeral, do these people sound like they hated the man? I don't think so, but if anyone shows me proof, otherwise, I would love to see it!

There was no autopsy.....her parents with Teddy's money paying the lawyers, went to court to stop it.....the diver testified as to opinion as an experienced diver...nothing more nothing less....the point is...the topic was discussed at the official inquest....

No one was going to screw around with someone as powerful as a Kennedy..not even the police when it was obvious Teddy broke the law....

there was a death certificate and there was a doctors' declaration of death, the Kopechne's didn't want her body exhumed when they found blood on her clothing that was turned over by the funeral home. Like was stated, she probably hit her head and died.

We will never know what exactly happened in that car after it went into the water.

She could have been passed out from a head injury and he thought she was dead, or she could have been dead. Dead bodies float, unless weighted down, she could have risen to the top of the air pocket then.

We will never know and all of us can make out best guesses and still might not be right!

Now you're reaching....I could just as easily claim he hit her on the head and killed her....
What we do know, is that Kennedy was a powerful, rich Senator....not a men to fuck with even with unimportant issues, let alone something as serious as this,,something that could put him jail

Could of, might have, etc...or she could have lingered there trying to hand onto life hoping help would come...instead, the cowardly fuck when home to sleep and bitch about a noisy party that kept him awake, and in the morning talked to people like nothing had happened....

We will never know and all of us can make out best guesses and still might not be right!
.

True....we'll never know the details only what is probable and the FACT that Teddy was a notorious sot at the time.....

You could say anything you wish and this is the point, it doesn't make it true and neither does the divers observation, it was his opinion and doesn't count for beans, unless he was a me diver, even then, they have to cut her open to tell and the parent said no, so she could have been murdered, but the death certificate says accidental, and I have to go with that, not knowing all the facts!

Thats very true, but it shouldn't stop' you from using your common sense,(assuming you have some), and an open mind, to come to some likely conclusions on your own....
Common sense doesn't require a degree, but a decent IQ would help you....I'll assume you might possess that....

Its all conjecture on our part, only Teddy (the swimmer) knows the truth, and it seems that it died with him....

Divers are medical examiners? what did the autopsy say?

the autopsy merely noted she drowned....by then of course everyone stuck to the story that ted told them....it was an accident....to claim the autopsy has any more authority is laughable....they did not conduct their own investigation as to what really took place....

that diver is right and the glaring fact IS: ted did not call the authorities....that happen to anyone else and they would stand trial for homicide, that is a fact...

Even the inquest was conducted in secret....
So many things occurred that arouse suspicion to ordinary observers....but it seems not to partisan hacks....you're not one of those are you, Miss Frog ?

Someone who wasn't there...

The right has smeared this womans name for decades.

She was a 28 year old woman who had a business degree and worked tirelessly for the Kennedy family elections.

She was involved in writing speeches and was one of the "boileroom girls" who accessed daily the political enviroment at the time and helped them wade the waters in directing the campaign.

She was an up and comer in politics.

The whole reason she was there at the site was to reward her and the other "boileroom girls" for their dedication to the project.

She was NOBODIES date and was not the hobitch the right played her to be all these years.

Please spare me your phoney respect for her.

She woud dispise your depiction of her as much as I do.

This made laugh so hard. Thank you.

Ted left her to die. Your type of values.
