They wanted to change the law in '04 for political reasons, so they did just that. I say tough shit, live with it, you got exactly what you wanted. If five months is too long to wait, blame Uncle Teddy. He knew what the end result of his ailment would be, and he knew it would happen sooner rather than later. There is no reason he couldn't have stepped down months ago and put into motion the process of electing a new senator.

Name a damn bridge after him and move on.

the rate at which our country changes majority parties.....this is going to fuck up the justice system....why don't we just do away with democracy after the majority party gets elected....just let them make any laws they want and any laws that benefit them and keep them in power.....
