You do understand the retail price of a gallon of gas is computed based on the cost of a barrel of oil. In 2021a barrel of oil was $70.00 gas $1.90 a gallon today a barrel of oil is over $100.00 and gas over $4.00. So what you pay at the pump is based on world prices. Nice try.
