RQAA. Stop asking the same question mindlessly. It's already been answered.
The NSA can easily geo track phones. They also listen in on phone conversations. There happens to be a listening post just a few miles from me. These antenna farms are pretty easy to recognize them for what they are.
The NSA gathers so much data they don't have enough people to analyze it. Computers are used to assist in picking out what is 'significant'. A main listening post is located in Salt Lake City, UT. Most cross country phone traffic moves through that town. There is also the satellites sitting behind the microwave towers, picking up microwaves that miss the receiving dish.
Anyone that wants to buy geo location data from the phone networks can do so. Any police force can get current locations of phones without a warrant. Further, you appear on cameras pretty much anywhere you travel in town and in most suburbs. That data is also available to police without getting a warrant. All they need is the camera owner's permission to access the data. Many of these cameras are government owned.
You think your life is private??
As long as your phone is one, they know where it is.
As long as you driving or walking around, some camera probably has you in view, if you are in the city or in a suburb. Cameras are becoming more commonplace in rural areas too.
Every time you use your debit or credit card, your transaction is tracked by the merchant and credit agencies. Those agencies keep a detailed record of EVERY TRANSACTION YOU MADE, long after your death. Yes, police can access that information as well, but they need a warrant. You are not notified of such a warrant.
Every property you buy is known and recorded with the government. Same with most vehicles, including cars, trailers, aircraft, boats, etc.
Every job you work at is recorded with the government, specifically the INS and the IRS.
Every tax return you file provides detailed account information to the government.
Every utility bill you pay provides detailed usage information of that utility.
Every web site you visit (including this one) is tracked. Even now, police can easily obtain personal information from JPP using a warrant.
I realize this is hard to swallow for you. Most people are completely unaware just how much personal information is available to anyone that wants it, and how much more is obtainable through an easily obtained warrant.
