I agree with that, but when that interpretation is based on language that is not in the Constitution, that is a problem. For example, some have made claims that the Constitution contains an 'inalienable' right to life. No such wording exists, or is even hinted at. Others have claimed that Constitutional protections only apply to US Citizens. These are not interpretations. They are ignorance.
