I'm not talking about the Great Depression you fucking goober, I'm talking about the four economic collapses that happened from the time the USSR fell apart to today.

FOUR TIMES our economy crashed and burned and turned to the government and federal reserve for help in just 30 years.

Four catastrophic failures in 30 years is not indicative of a system that works.

Well that depends on who you ask, doesn't it? Because most people in this country aren't rich and are barely above the poverty line.

90% of workers haven't seen a wage increase in 12 years.

This is a system that works? Maybe for a handful of people, but not for you and me.

Firstly, your pal Reagan is the one who wanted massive corporations that were too big to fail, which is why he deregulated them in the 80's...and that deregulation is directly linked to the S&L Crisis which occurred when he was President vs. the collapse of the Soviet Union which occurred when he wasn't.

So you're giving Reagan credit for the one thing he deserves no credit for, and you're not giving him credit for all the things he does deserve credit for.

We've had to bail out Capitalism because it doesn't fucking work, Dutch.

Right now, the median household income in the US is $67,521 and the mean income is $71,300. The poverty line, as defined by the government varies by numbers in the family from a low of $13,590 for 1 person to a high of $46,630 for 8.

That doesn't sound like most people in this country are "barely above the poverty line."
