Well, one of the benefits of the 1/6 investigation is that these weaknesses were exposed. Wray won't make the same mistake twice. My sense is he's on high alert right now.

Conservatives are fighting a rear guard fighting retreat, and have been since the 1920s. That trajectory is not going to change because of one midterm, where the party in power nearly always loses seats.
