It's unambiguous bit of buck-passing. Religions will neither be officially recognized nor prohibited.
I agree, no official religion, no Government support of religion.

Uh I understood that Jesus was the Son of God. Jesus was Logos, the Word.
And who is the Word? .
I dont think it's buck passing at all. It's a clear statement that the govt shall not establish a religion like Henry did. Calling America a Christian nation doesn't rise to establishment of a religion.
It ascribes a type of Nation. If we are a type of religion does that not mean it is established?
Not at all.
Right christians believe the God of the bible created all men therefore "their" creator is the God of the bible. It's a common linguistic use of the word "their" it's not suggesting they have "their" own creator.
Can't you read?
Not at all.
Not at all.
Yes, can you? John 1:1
So what is the result of this being a "CHRISTIAN NATION", in the way you see it...?
Yes I know that verse.
Whats the difference?
Then once AGAIN I will ask you, who is the Word?
I asked if you can read my post. I clearly said that Jesus was tbe Word.
He was the Word incarnate.
Big difference. The govt never established Christianity as a state religion much like Constantine did in 313.
You said you were familiar with the passage I posted. If so then where does it say "Jesus is the word"? You're right Jesus is the word incarnate. Who is the word? Tell us what the passage actually says.
The result of this being a Christian nation is that men were made free and equal based on God given rights. No religion is established based in that principle. Would you prefer islam where non believers convert or are killed?
