Is America a Christian nation?

You should call it a day, Dutch. You've been corralled , ridden and broke.

Haw, haw..............................haw.
Have you been watching sweaty cowboy movies, Ms. Moon?

I'm really tired of religion. Really tired. It's so negative, in so many ways.

I know it's good for a lot of people, and gives them a strong foundation of morals, and hope. But for so many now, it is politicized, and used for agendas that are so in contrast w/ the basic tenets of the religion.

Humanity's hope for the future lies in leaving most religions in the rearview. That doesn't mean God doesn't exist - just that we need to find a new spiritual path as a civilization. The way we practice religion right now is just bad for the species.

Agree. Time to drop that useless religion.

Religion and spirituality are two different things.

Agreed. Are you telling me either one of them were "spiritual" with their statements?

Can you think of anything more obnoxious than a 20something atheist? About the same as a 20something Bible thumper? LOL

Religions are rigid structures. They limit people's thinking. Their beliefs can not be questioned.

It is difficult to break out of.

Ever wonder if maybe that was just your church/family/religious learning institution you attended and maybe not ALL of them? You are thinking rather rigidly....

Some more than others. Some are very dogmatic, some are more spiritual. Notice that very few single guys go to Church. It's mostly for families. Young punks and atheists rarely attend.

Why? People are free to chose as they like unless they are stupid...and isn't it good the stupid go to church to keep them in line? LOL
