Is America a Christian nation?

I have stated multiple times that I grew up in a Fundamentalist Christian family and have gone to that kind of a camp multiple times and graduated from Liberty University.
Nice cult.

Thanks, I didn't recall you graduating from Liberty University. Was it really straitlaced, or did you have a minor in pussy and beer?

Pussy and beer at Liberty University? :rofl2:

Actually they did. :)

Isn't that where #45 got his Honorary Degree?

Liberty Is Now The Only University To Not Rescind Donald Trump’s Honorary Degrees
Donald Trump has been granted five honorary degrees in his lifetime - from Lehigh University in 1988, from Wagner College in 2004, from Robert Gordon University in Scotland in 2010, and from Liberty University, which granted honorary degrees to Mr. Trump on two occasions - 2012 and 2017.

But as of today, only one of those institutions- Liberty University - has not revoked the honorary degrees originally granted to Mr. Trump.

if the Catholics are the ones who decide and the catholics are calling for his excommunication, I have no idea why an atheist trial lawyer's opinion is even relevant.......

You believe all the Catholics are calling for it.

Hell, I am Christian and I am calling for you to be declared non-Christian... Does that make you out?

first, you saying you're a Christian feels like a goal post shift.....is this a recent conversion?.....second, "Christian" is a lot broader than "Catholic"......I expect you'll need to line up leaders from ALL the deniminations to carry it instead of just leaders from the RCA.....

What the Americans objected to in Hobbes were the ways in which he drained the substance from the natural-law tradition. Reason was merely a tool that served human desires; ideas of what is good for human beings were completely subjective. There were no moral rules apart from the will of an overwhelmingly powerful sovereign who could lay down the law and keep the peace.

In contrast, Hamilton claimed: “Good and wise men in all ages” have taught that God had “created an eternal and immutable law, which is, indispensably, obligatory upon all mankind, prior to any human institution whatever.” The reason Hobbes believed such an “absurd and impious doctrine,” Hamilton concluded, is “that he disbelieved the existence of an intelligent superintending principle, who is the governor, and will be the final judge of the universe.”

I agree with Hobbes. Madison is wrong.

No! Never was,never will be!
The First Amendment is to keep religion out of the Government!
And America has Muslims,Jews,Atheist,Agnostics,Buddha's, Hindu,etc

The founders were mostly deists and agnostics. The country was founded on religious freedom. That includes freedom from religion. We make no laws based on religion. Now The Repubs want to and the Supremes are on their side.

it doesn't take that much effort to look at the time stamp that's on every post...
Agreed, but that fact it concerns you and you took the time in the first place is interesting.

Is life so slow at your facility that you need a little Dutch on your mind, Pmp?
